you need to bench bleed the master cylinder before you install, it should come with tubing and adapters to do this, basically you have a fluid input and pump the cylinder in and out to get out the air, you will still have to bleed the brake lines afterwards

after master is installed correctly and full of fluid, pump the heck out of the pedal many times then having a friend pump the pedal three times and hold, starting with the longest line first(passeneger rear) open the bleeder on the wheel cylinder (use tubing and a bottle to keep from getting oil everywhere) it spits a little air then fluid, repeat this several times until only clear fluid comes out, check fluid in master cylinder again and repeat on the drivers rear, and the passenger front and finally the drivers front, when this is done correctly the pedal will be up in hard firm position and stay there with very little difference when the jeep is started

be sure and start the fittings with you fingers on the master cylinder they are easy to cross thread

patients and thinking about how this fluid system works is the key here, jump right in and have fun
