I was thinking of starting a thread of my stuff up on mallcrawlin. I've heard mixed things about the site. Maybe we should move this chat into my thread anyway so we don't mess up your tech thread on the rr Finger

Here's how I ran my wires.

3/8" (I think) hole in the roof under the front roof rail cap

I forget the grommet size, but it is small enough that 4 wires (12 gauge I think) can barely fit through. Its a tight squeeze.

Wires pulled through with some wire covering on.

WeatherPak connections were used - seem like pretty quality stuff.

I didn't get a picture of it, but I sealed the hole, grommet, and wires up with some sealant. Cap replaced.

From there I ran the wires down the A-piller under the plastic, around the dash next to the door and through the firewall near the a/c housing.

I drilled a hole near there where it comes in the engine compartment just inside the wheel well. From there it is up to my relays and fuse panel.

It is raining today, we will see if it leaks Mr. Green I'm pretty confident it won't. The cap provides cover from some wind traveling down the road way and it is sealed up.

Nice install Brad. Any problems melting wires? I tried that with 12 gauge and had to move to 10 gauge way back when.

Haven't had any problems yet. I do have some leaking though, so I will have to reseal my hole on the roof. I may try some windshield sealant or something.

Resealed this a while back just in case anyone wanted to know, and it has worked just fine. I found that there was a small portion that didn't get sealed.
