Okay so I'm not sure if this belongs in the rim category or the cherokee category but since I drive a cherokee I will put this here.

I was wondering if a set of Jeep Rubicon rims (16 in.) along with tires (245/75R16) would fit on a stock 2001 Cherokee Sport. I am in Afghanistan right now so I cannot check myself. I figured I would call the jeep dealership as well but since it's 1 a.m. in the states right now I might as well post it here also.. Thanks.

They should fit....but you might have some rubbing on the LCA's at full steering lock.

They will fit if they are from an 06 or earlier TJ (5 on 4.5"). The new JK wrangler has 5 on 5" bolt pattern. To prevent rubbing you'd either need to shim the steering stops with washers or get some spacers. A lift would do nothing unless it had skinnier control arms. You'll probably experience very little rubbing if any.
