as far as i can tell,
in my 95 2.5L, whenever the driver seat shifts (over a bump, normal driving, me getting in or out) there is a clicking. Its not in the adjustment mechanisms, it sounds more like the metal under the seat is weakening and popping

anyone have anything similar to this... so far the best fix is to just turn the radio up a bit...

also, live in RI, across from the Atlantic Ocean so salt corrosion is a major factor...

thoughts? comments? point and laughs?

my pass seat does it . you had the right solution turn up the radio. haha as long as the seat isnt loose dont worry if you want you can check the four bolts holding it on for tightness but it seems to just be a wrangler thing.

all mount bolts good....
since original post, i did take the seats out, scrape and clean peeling paint/rust, and apply Hammerite. when reinstalling the seats, i put neoprene washers at mount bolts and studs, seemed to do the trick... and cleaned rust off studs and bolts and nuts too....

one mount bolt was a tad askew on the underside... who knows, more annoying noise have since popped up...

Seems like every time I take a trail I find a new noise on the way home. Razz
