some more pics i didn't get to upload till now

now i just need to work the passenger side like the drivers side.then i need to work on getting 220 up to the garage.damn rental homes never have what you need, lol.

i'm hoping to have the chassis done by spring .at that point i can either strip out the engine, trans, and case for something else or just beat the stock drive train for a bit with some real axles under it over course.

you may have already answered this but what are you going to do to the back end? is it going to look like swampy's zj or is the frame just gonna stick out. or maybe you are just shortening the whole vehicle

i joined another forum that is for Comanches .well in my searching of their forums i found a guy that has the exact bed i had in my head right down to several key features.it has storage compartments, the fuel cell is right were i was going to put mine.the shape everything its funny as hell but makes my job easier to figure it out i guess.

his wraps into an exo that is close to what i wanted

there are no more frame rails to the vehicle.once its time to start a chasis it will be hand made 2x4 or 2x5 tubing

Edited to fix an img tag - Code3TJ

its hard to see but the roof had to be rounded more.

if you remember it was flared out

after going at it with the dollies .if you can see it is more rounded and straight down

wow...and I was impressed with myself over the weekend that I could remove the front fender, remove some dents and put it back on. Dude, what you're doing is freaking amazing to me.

did you pay attention to the dates of the posts.

the first cab section i had was fitted in 5 days with about 15 ~20 hours total if that.

the second cab section was fitted in 12 days with about 10 hours total since i was only working on it about an hour a day.

it has since been put on hold till work picks up and i have the money to get the steel for the frame/chassis and exo.

uhh i think he was admiring your technical skills. He was saying that he was surprised that he could remove a fender and fix some dents over a weekend.
