I walked around my house Sunday with my chest poked out because I was able to fix my fender. Then, I look at a post that shows somebody chopping, cutting, fitting...

My chest ain't poked out no more. I wasn't being a smart-aleck. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

what badgers doing here is something I'd like to see on the discovery channel, something like american chopper, only with Jeeps. I do have some questions and would like to see some in-depth pictures on what you do with the rear suspension (im guessing your going to make a custom 4-link) I am in the process of building my own jeep and I'd love someone with experience to point in the right direction

it will get there .right now i need to start the purchasing of steel to start the chassis.this will be double triangulated 4 link in the rear.the front will be parallel 4 with panhard bar other wise known as a 5 link.think stock suspension but with long arms.

now when you say that, are you going to run the front axle further forward so the front wheels will hit the obstacle before the front of the truck or are you going to center both front and rear long arms on a crossmember in the middle of the body?

judging by the wheel base that i will need to run they will not meet in the middle.they might come close .they will be mounted onto the same skidplate/cross member so i guess they will kind of meet in the middle but will have a good spread.as for the front axle it will be pushed forward some.as for how much exactly i will not know till i start to build the suspension and get the 42's to see were i need to put it.

Yep this link is from 3 years ago when I was doing the 4 link on the old Cherokee.

As for this project it is on hold for some time.Maybe later this spring I will have the extra cash to continue.
