2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L, engine warning light stays on while driving. When the speed is constant usually going down hill; the light starts to blink. If the speed is not varied, the engine looses power. It's almost like loosing a couple/three cylinders. The only way to continue driving is to stop, shut down and restart the vehicle. What in your opinion, do you think is going with this Jeep? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

id could guess all day, but why not stop at an auto parts store like advanced auto/autozone and have them read the code for you. that way you know where to start.

Yeah, get it on a scanner. It could be a number of things and honestly it could be a bad sensor or your engine screaming for help.

Take it to a shop like Autozone or something and keep it in your mind while your there. "Your there only for the scan and then your gone" Take what they say and then decide where to buy your parts. I say that because Ive seen many people fall into the trap. Dang Im here I might as well buy the part, but you might find it cheaper or of a better quality somewhere else.

Indeed very true, but at least buy an air freshener so you don't look like a major cheapo rofl
