I want.

I know that I might have to fab up a few things but I'm betting most of the stuff is already there since they probably mostly the same body, they just didn't put in all the 4x4 stuff.

It can be on the road now but I don't want to run it on 3 cylinders and keep the gas on it at stoplights so it won't stall. Right now I'm trying to get the cash and parts together, along with a plan, those help sometimes. Of course being the second half of the semester at school I have 3 projects I'm working on for my classes and working the rest of the time so working on cars isn't in the time budget right now. Its going to be an after christmas type of project. Can't afford any time till then. I've got two classes to do next semester and then I'm out of college. Next semester will give me plenty of time to work and also work on my this project.

yeah...dont feel bad it took me 3 weekends for aclutch replacement that should have tooken one saturday i dont kno about you but here in lakeland florida there are used 4x4 cherokees with the 4.0 everywhere i saw one with a rebuilt engine and tranny 15000 miles on the rebuild but that engine ran better than my 98 with 90,000 miles on her...and all you need is the engine tranny front axle and tcase.......someone bought it for there kid put some money into for it to run and there kid didnt like they sold it...it went for 1200...that would be an awsome canadite for you...not sure what your price range is but its gonna cost you a good 700 for a blown cherokee another 500 in parts and probably 30 hours of labor....buy that you could knock it out on a long weekend with 3 buddies and a case of cold ones headbang

Yeah, the good thing I have going for me is that I don't care what shape the body is in. I've found one for 400 because it rearended someone and the only problem is that I would have to buy a new fan for the engine because it took a piece of the radiator out. As long as the engine runs I'll be ok, I am going to rebuild it and if I need to I can rebuild the tcase and the trans. I have a friend that has rebuilt transmissions in automotive school so he has a little bit of experience and that could go a long way. So far I've got 3 or 4 people willing to help out. Even if it takes a while to do I'm not worried because its not my primary driver.
