I want to buy a set of Pacesetter headers for my 1998 XJ 4x4, 4.0L, but they sell headers that say "with warm-up cat." and "without warm-up cat." How do I figure out which one I have. My XJ does have the OBDII type cat with the wiring harness plugged into it. Is this what they mean by "warm-up" cat? I haven't been able to find an answer to this one and as of yet Pacesetter isn't answering my inquiries. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I asked this in the Cherokee forum but haven't gotten a response, so I figured I would widen the field to anyone with knowledge of a 4.0L Jeep.

Hi, they must mean a cat conveter with a o2 sensor for the warm up type, cats only start to work when up to temp, if you have a o2 sensor on your jeep cat at the moment then thats the type you need. you should also have a o2 sensor on your front down pipe. hope this helps........
