I thought they looked pretty beefy compared to the stock ones!

I decided against the Polyurethane after market ones because others made statements about them making vibrations and noise more noticible than rubber.

I figured I'd change them again in 4-5 years, if need be . . . for a little quieter highway ride!

Original stock rubber ones lasted 15 years although most of those weren't off road.

I'm a strong advocate for the stock engine mounts because they do such a better job at eliminating engine vibration than the polyurethane, but...

Has anyone tried the rubber circular motor mounts like the ones in the previous pictures. If so, do they eliminate engine vibration like they claim, or are they almost as bad as the polyurethane? Offroad driving can sure rip through a set of stock mounts pretty quick.

I know the MORE Bombproof mounts are supposed to be tough as all get out and specially designed for offroad wear and tear, and that's what I'll be looking into when mine decide to fail. They look to be great replacements compared to factory (don't know how easy it is to get to the mounts tho...).

I have no taken it off road since the install but my gut impression so far is that everything seems louder and more vibrations now than before with stock motor mounts. (Absent the loud CLUNK though!)

I can only imagine that the MORE Bomb-Proof are tougher/louder than stock but not as tough or loud as POLY.

I think they are in between.

As I said the install was not as difficult as I anticipated other than a couple of typical bone-head mistakes.

One Saturday morning of aggravation, a good floor jack and a sturdy block of wood to cushion oil pan from jack.

Yeah, I'm gonna do more reading up on MORE to see what's best. I've read about people and the polyurethane problems, so rubber sounds much better.

But this is still moot. If I do anything with 'em it'll probably be put in storage until I actually develop a problem anyway. Mr. Green
