Yeah Maxx did it, but I was wondering specifically about the 5.9 and if anyone had done it because I have heard the rear outpat shaft is different as well as the spline count. So just looking for the best match Wink

Berk, you know darn well that was the GREATEST offroading adventure ever and that you have never laughed that hard in your entire life. The only thing better would have been with wolfman in the back bed ejected out and ran over to his death by your truck.

talk to maxx about the stuff you will need, the 5.9 is the same block as the 5.2 the only difference would be the trans

worst case scenario you'll have to swap the main shafts in the cases

Swapping the input gear on the t-case solves the problem of a different shaft or spline count on the tranny.

Thats what I was hinting at, either way the case has to be split in half

Chris maxx knows what hes doing take your junk to his place and do it on a saturday

if you have the 5.9, you prety much have to crack it open and swap the input gears, some trannys have the same spline count, but not the correct length, or vice versa.

it is like swaping a case for any other GC.
