had this yj for 2 years, finally need to do the shocks and springs. I'm looking at re arcing the springs and adding a leaf, and changing the shocks to ranchos. I don't really want to get into fancy lifts, 'cause I only use the jeep for country stuff and the occasional hunting trip., so I don't want to change the road manners. Am I on the right track? will I be able to put slightly larger tires on when ready to replace them. Really appreciate the comments and info, thanx

I would look into the cost of re-arching and an add a leaf vs new leaf packs. Might be just as cheap to buy new ones all togethers. There are some companies that make packs in various stiffness.
