I have a 95 grand I6 128k miles. I have been noticing a creaking noise during low speed turns and I got under to grease the ujoints. Pass side would not take any grease. I think the fitting is frozen. Drivers side the fitting is broken off and one of the seals is torn.
Does anyone have a write up on how to change them.
Thanks in advance.

Here's a writeup on the procedure. Make sure you get greasable u-joints, the ones with flat grease fittings so they won't snap off again. Using a press would be the easiest way to actually replace the u-joint. You can rent one from Autozone or purchase one from Harbor Freight. If you do it with a hammer and sockets, be patient, it may take some elbow grease to get the old joint out. I've always used the hammer trick, but sometimes the caps are really "frozen" into the shafts. If you need any torque specs, just ask.

Sweet write up.

Hey Moderator: Can this be added to a sticky or added to the Tech section?
It really is an excellent write up.

Thanks Orangeamc13
