ok i bought a 93 grand cherokee today i dont know what model it is because its been repainted and has no emblems, although it has aluminum 15" rims and power everything with power seats also and the onboard computer thing that tells you which bulb is out and stuff. anyway, the onboard computer does not work at all, i tried checking all the fuses but they seem fine, and also the turn signals are messed up, when i put left or right turn signal on, it just lights up the turn signals and flashes VERY slowly, probly about 3 to 4 seconds delay in flash. also, the right marker lens bulb illuminates VERY faintly, you can just barely see the little coil glow red. but the driver side is fine... i dont understand this, im thinking would it be the flasher ??? ive already changed every single bulb in the front end, and the rear of the jeep. any help would be greatly appreciated, its a straight 6. it also has the factory alarm that i have to disable by turning the key in the REAR HATCH lock to disable it.

Take the light off and check to make sure your ground is connected and not broken.. There are lots of ground issues with the grand and lots of wires break intermittently..

Thats a good start..
