Was reading the review in the new JP mag. They have improved the tire, added more to the side wall and new tread design, Krawler like.

Quote:
With the new stronger sidewall the BFG Mud-terrain KM2 is even more of a jack of all trades than before. Street (wet and dry), Mud, sand, and rocks are all in it's vocabulary. Overall, think of KM2 as a more affordable and much more streetable version of the high-dollar BFG Krawler

Just wondered what others thought about it? I know most really like the TrXus MTs. Think you may try them??

The big difference is that the TrXus is still made of a softer compound than the BFG. Meaning that it will grip a little better...of course that also means it will wear faster. So it really all depends on whether the rig is a DD or not...

i bought them (km2) and like them. quieter than the km, seem a little stickier though than the km ones, and i like the tread pattern more to. hard to say if the handling has improved as i have these on 16" wheels while my last km tires were on 15" wheels...alot can be attributed to less side-wall flex. only had them in a little mud, wet roads, and back/forth to work - no complaints though. oh, they used very little lead to balance them.
chris (no wheeling until her HP30 is finished)

Good point Chris...and that's another considering factor...the Trxus MT's are a PITA to balance.
