I have a problem with my 1998 Sport edition Wrangler. Every time I need the low end power (doing doughnuts in grass or mud, going though mud in general) it just isn't there. Most of the time, it just boggs down and feels like there isn't any power at all. When I am driving on the road, after taking off from a stop, it feels like the transmission is stuck in second gear or something. I was thinking my cat. converter was clogged up so I was going to take it off, and replace it with a straight pipe (leave the muffler alone) then I saw the O2 sensor downstream. Is this the only one? In short, I need a lot more low end power I used to have, without new gears or drastic engine mods. Does any body have any suggestions or know something that may be causing this problem, Thanks in advance
