So, what would it take to run 33's on a stock rubicon? Not for rock crawling, more for trails and just general offroading. I have searched but I cant seem to find an answer. Thanks for any help.

stock?.....

you will need to cut the hell out of your fenders and get wheels with alot less backspacing so that they dont rub on your springs.

the best way to do it is to get about a 3.5 lift or you could do a 2 inch budget boost and then get a 1 inch body and then you will probably have enough to get by with 33's

and if you decide to get a suspension lift.... do it right and go with a good brand like Rubicon Express

On a stock Rubicon don't they sit higher than regular TJ's? I'd guess to keep it stock I'd entertain at least a body lift maybe a JKS, which are around 1.25-inches.

However like mentioned if your going to do it, I'd do it right and remove the stock suspension and go for a 3.5-inch lift or larger.

No.

You either need to hack the fenders a lot or go with a small lift, like a budget boost, and adjust your bumpstops accordingly. A small body lift, like the JKS 1.25" will give you that much more uptravel.
