Its an 86 and the rear end sags. Not as bad as it did b4 i put knew shocks on it but it stilll sags. Its probably 1-2" lower than the front and i would like it to be about1-2" higher than the front. I dont know if i should get xj replacement springs or get some off another vehicle. If i should get some off another vehicle tell me what kind. Also how hard will it be to put them on? I have never done anything like this b4.

It all depends,

Generally speaking if you raise the vehicle itīs going to affect your fuel economy, but itīs all relative. The higher the vehicle the greater the air resistance and turbulance underneath the vehicle. I donīt think Iīd worry about much over a couple inches.

As for springs, you can do the S10 pack for under $100 (guessing) as has been suggested many time on this board, or you can invest about $200-$300 in a set of springs from Pro Comp or Skyjacker. I'm Rubicon, Old Man Emu and others has leaf pack also ($$$$).

My only real sugestion here is give due consideration to your goal and what your intend to be using the jeep for 4 to 5 years out. No sense in spending money if your just going to end up doing it twice.
