Thanks to this forum, and to those who post on it, I took on the challenge of changing out my brake booster on my 88XJ and won. No record time set but a lot of $ saved.

One reassembly problem worth noting, I had two-plug connector attached to my brake light switch, they are polarized and therefore will only go back one way. I had twisted them together during disassembly for identification purpose. When attempting to plug them back on one went rite on, the other would not fit. After many frustrating attempts I hade a light-bulb moment, polarized plug turn it around fool and this time it slipped rite on. Lesson learned donít try to force it, stop and think out why it is not fitting.

Thanks to all from DJ.
