I want to lift my JK and have recieved 2 different answers. So I figured I would poll you guys to see what you have done or heard.

I was told by the old service manager at my local Jeep dealership that I could put a 5" lift on and 35" tires and still not void the warranty.

The new service manager recomended no lift at all and said anything more that 2" would change the pinion angle of my CV driveshafts and that would void the powertrain warranty.

Who has lifted theirs and did it void your warranty?
Anyone else heard anything similar?

Dealers typically don't like honoring warranties when vehicle are lifted...be it mild or extreme. If you are worried about your warranty, don't modify the vehicle. It's really simple.
