cant fix my jeep's overheating problem???

THAT'S what I wanted, but AutoZone didn't have anything like these. $150 for a water pump is a bit high, but if you love your truck like I do...
EDIT: I just noticed that there are NO WARRANTIES on these water pumps.

For specific reference, this is the one for my 1989 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine:

I'm still interested in electric pumps as well as secondary units that mount on a radiator hose or something. Anybody?

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the FAN CLUTCH. It was just old!

It should be a simple fix and not too expensive. Also, make sure you get one where the fins turn the same direction as the old one.

Once I replaced mine, the over-heating went away INSTANTLY and my Jeep has ran cool ever since.

My 1990 cherokee also overheats , after replacing everything and flushing block , Ive finally narrowed it to that STUPID bottle , closed system here i come. Funny thing with mine is its fine all winter long , then soon and spring comes around 60 plus degrees it starts it shi... again. April switching systems .... Cool
