I was off road and I heard some clunking noise when I would go over bumps. I found that the anti-sway bar connectors were busted at the rubber at the top. Well that let them rub on the brake line, not a good thing so I took them off. In trying to remove the top piece, one of them broke, so I had to remove the A-SB to get it out. It was rusted in pretty good. Thing is that I didn't have the scratch to go right to the dealer and buy new connectors, let alone the extra money for quick-disconnects. I have been driving around for about a month with the entire front A-SB and connectors off... and I really don't notice too much of a difference. Maybe they actually broke earlier than I thought and didn't notice. I only had the TJ for about 2 months before this, and I have never had a AWB Jeep before. I really don't mind the way it handles.
Anyone else ride without the A-SB???

RDZNL, the links were probably already bad when you got it, that's why you don't notice a difference. The ride would be drastically different with the sway bar links attached. You should get some disco's when you can.

92YJ, you have leaf springs. Leafs are a lot stiffer than coils. It's almost like comparing apples to oranges.

That sig pic is great! Looks like whoever built that monstrosity didn't like it too much. It's on the front lawn of a stealership, I would guess for sale.

Don't go the dealer. The links are about $15 a piece at your local auto parts store.

I took my sway bars off as soon as I got my jeep. I didnít mind the sway bars being unhooked at all. Until I did a 4Ē lift kit with larger tires. At high speeds my jeep would sway on the road and make it very difficult to control at times. If you like the way it handles off road but donít want that effect on-road. Go out and get yourself a pair of quick disconnects for the sway bars. I have it on my jeep and love it!
