New project in the shop..1942 WC 53

Been working very hard on this lately.. 80-90 hours a week.

trying to get it finished by Middle of june and there is still tons of work to do.

So far we have stripped it down to nothing .. Painted the frame. Installed 60 front and 14 bolt rear.. custom mounts for springs.. Custom shock mounts..
Installed new front seats .

Power window motors all installed and wired.. (obviously custom made for us)

ARB is installed and wired .. Here are some pics of us checking the flex and measureing for the shocks..

Not alot of flex but how much do you need on a 1942 ride... LOL..

Those are 37" milspec tires by the way..

You can see the battery sitting on the fender. The Arb compressor is next to that.. and they will be covered with a steele battery box cover in true military fashion..

Here is another shot of the flex..

And here is the factory front bumper that we cut with a plasma cutter and mounted the winch fairlead on .. We have a milemarker hydrolic winch installed on her behind that bumper..

I will take better pics of it as we go along and post them up when I have time..

Hope to be able to spend a little more time on here soon.. We just are in a very bid hurry and we still have lots of stuff to do.. Its got to be ready for an upcoming military vehicle show..

Wish me luck..

Catch you guys later..

Carl
