Hey everyone,

Iím Chris also known as fuzzy59 and I figured it was about time to finally get some pictures together of what my jeep looks like and what Iíve done to it. Iíve had a ton of fun with my jeep over the years and I donít plan on stopping that anytime soon. I bought my jeep about 4 years ago when I was back in college and itís treated me well ever since. Iíve done a bit of wheeling over the years and Iíll try to post some pictures up for you guys and gals as I find them.

Hereís a run-down list of what it currently has on it:

1998 5.9L GJC
Loaded with all the bells and whistles

3Ē Skyjacker lift
Front upper Rubicon Express adj caís
Front lower Skyjacker fixed arms
OME shocks all the way around
265/75/16 BFG M/Tís and a 265/75/16 BFG A/T spare
Twin City Turbo Dual Intake

ARB Bull Bar with Warn winch and 6Ē Super Rallyís
TrailReady Rear Bumper with tire swing and custom receiver hitch
KOR Rock Rails
KOR Roof Rack with Hella 500ís

Cobra 29 WX NW ST with a Firestik Antenna II and Cobra HG-S500 PA
48" Hi-Lift All Purpose Mechanical Jack
Axe
Shovel
Gas can
An assortment of tools and a bunch of other goodies that I'm sure I forgot. As I get new stuff or if I forgot some things Iíll be sure to post them up as well.

And here's picture of the jeep all purdy up

And a picture of the behind

And here is my jeep next to my DD on 225's:

Well I got a lot of big plans here in the very near future, Iíll be posting up as much as I can so that anyone can follow my build. Feel free to comment as much as you want and I hope you enjoy my jeep as much as I have.

Chris

Haha, I told you I HAVE to wait for the 231 first. After Pat throws his 231 my way my build goes into full mode. I'll put the thread up for my crossmember and unibody stiffiners later tonite.

Sorry about the pic sizes, it's all I have. I'll post some dirty pics up soon, I got plenty of them.

Picked up some new wheels this weekend. I cleaned them up a bit, pretty excited about them. Got 4 15x10 3.75 backspacing TrailReady beadlock wheels. They look awesome and I'm thinking they are in dire need of some new rubbers Wink

Silly dog, get out of the picture!

There she goes again...is she winking at me Wink

I'm pumped about these, got a great deal on them.

Ummm, you might want to double-check the laws in VA regarding real beadlocks. Last time I heard, they were illegal here. Don't know if they've changed it yet, but a lot of the beads I've seen running around here are fake ones because of that stupid law.

Just an FYI. They look wiz tho. Twisted Evil

So the Clayton LA kit for my ZJ came in a few weeks ago so the other weekend Maxx and I decided to start installing what we could while we wait for my 231 to come out of Patís TJ. Overall it went very smooth and I got a bunch of pictures of the install for everyone to check out:

First things first letís laugh at the tonka toy next to the monster truck

To fit the Clayton unibody stiffeners we needed to cut part of the brackets off of KOR Rock Rails since they were in the way. Iím selling these to my brother anyway so weíll build some new brackets when the time comes. Cut away!

Picked up some gloss black spray paint from Loweís, letís start painting the cross-member, control arm brackets, and spacer.

Put the jack under the transfer case to release pressure on the drive-train so that we could unbolt the old cross-member and tc mount.

Whoa! Donít let this lion out of the cage! Wink Now bolting the new cross member, tc mount, ca mounts.

Now that everything is bolted and welded in, time to sand down the contact spots for the unibody stiffeners.

Maxx is probably laughing for two reasons in this picture Mr. Green

And part of it sanded down before we start lining up the stiffeners

And now with everything grinded down, welding time. Go Maxx!

And some of the finished product on the driver side stiffener, look at those purdy welds

Control arm brackets getting welded

And the finished product

The install on the first part of my Clayton went great. Since we have the stock exhaust still on my jeep we decided to hold off on the passenger side until we cut that sob off since we wouldnít be able to grind or weld everywhere we needed too. Iíll be sure to keep you guys posted as we continue on the build. Any questions or comment and feel free to post up. If you need any more pictures I can post more as well Mr. Green

I am very seriously wanting to build this from scratch. Do have any paperwork on sizes/spec's of each piece that you could scan and email or something? These parts are simple to build if I had all the right measurements.

Foxx, I hate you. I'll let YOU guess what it will be, but it will be poo rofl

If it bothers you that much I'll put it up on Mallcrawlin', I don't even have an account over there.

Hey ZJ, if you want Clayton Offroad is where I got my lift from, you could ask them what the measurements are on everything, I don't have a sheet with all the specs atm.

Let me know what you guys think Wink
