i have a 78 cj 7 with chevy 350 3 speed with 35's under it i am going to be swapin out my axles for a set of scout axles and and my 3 speed out for a t18 4 speed i don not do much road driving. what would be the best gears to run in the mud i was thinkin 4.88 but i did not no if they would bu to low for the mud o what some help would be nice thatnks.

With the 350, and 4spd I would say 4.88's are a bit low. I would say more along the lines of 4.10's
