No pressure when pushing in clutch

When I push the clutch in, i get no pressure from it and can't put the jeep into gear. someone please help! clutch fluid is topped off

It could be a few things;
- Clutch master cylinder
- Clutch slave cylinder
- bad clutch assembly

It's going to be one (or all) of them. Have you ever replaced the clutch in the rig before? If not, how many miles on it?

it has 12500 miles on it and i dont think its ever been replaced

My old MJ needed one about 100k or so if I recall. And I'm assuming you mean 125k miles, not 12,500 miles?

Before you lost pressure, did the clutch hook up well or did it periodically "slip?"

no it was working really well until one day it just wouldnt go into gear..and then two days later there was no pressure at all

My son got a 1995 yj, backed it up and clutch stayed mostly on bottom, couldnt get it in gear, had to shut motor off and start and got it going, drove to a buddy at a shop and the clutch was ok by the time we drove the 1o miles, he said the hydraulic system lost its prime, it did the same thing about a year ago, dont know what caused it or how to prevent it, maybe this is problem with yous, sounds like same symptoms.
