Did a little wheelin' after a belated Christmas party for a local jeep club that I belong to.

The same tree that did the rear damage. Maybe I should've stopped after the mirror flew off! The funny part is, I just put that (replacement) mirror on because I tore the original off about a week prior. _________________ 83 CJ7 4.2, 88 XJ 4.0, 94 ZJ 5.2, 99 XJ 4.0

Did you have to do a trail fix on the snapped yoke?
Yea, some rigs fair better than others with trail rash. A missing mirror and scrapes aren't a biggy, but local law enforcement tends to frown on broken lights.
Looks like other than that it was probably a fun time? _________________ Links4Jeeps |

Yes, I replaced the shaft with one of my spares. Luckily, I carry a few. The temperature was in the low teens, that's probably why the lights and plastics broke so easily. I've wheeled the shit out this Jeep for years and rub elbows with the trees all the time. That night was just too cold. Good thing I had my one piece winter mechanic suit in the back of the Jeep. I was hoping that I didn't get nabbed for having no lenses, only one bulb was out. It was about a 45 min ride home. Made it home no problem and replaced the lights in the morning, with spares I keep in the basement. _________________ 83 CJ7 4.2, 88 XJ 4.0, 94 ZJ 5.2, 99 XJ 4.0
