The next FM2CD VA trail ride will be at Big Levels on Saturday, October 30th, 2004. This will most likely be the chapters last sanctioned trail ride for 2004, so get those winter mod plans ready!

Dale and I are still discussing which parts of the trail system we'll be taking as well as where we'll be meeting, so stay tuned for those details.

Rock On!

Steve

May be bad with Hollow'een, but I'll see. What the 'level' of the trail? I feel I need to come out and play before I exploit you all in putting on my lift and emptying some beer bottles Wink

You forgot about smashing some pizza to wash that beer down! rofl

The trail is similar to Shoe Creek...stocker friendly with lots of places to play that have varying difficulty. Hope you can make it out!

We need to talk to you about all of that Vic. We're thinking to meet somewhere at exit 94 on I-64 time TBD (I like 0900). I think that there is a BK there but what else. Gotta finalize all of that. I'll make sure I'm on AIM later and we can talk that over. Exit 94 is great cause we can get there direct without having to get back on the highway.

Sure J, bring him along.

We are all set folks. Here's the details....

We'll be meeting at Shoney's which is exit 94 (Rt 340) off of I-64. Go north on 340 and Shoneys is on the right. We'll meet there at 0900 and depart for the trail at 1000. The trail head is about 30 minutes from Shoneys.

Dale will be providing GPS waypoints via email shortly.

See y'all there!

Rock On!

Steve

Thanks for thinking of me Keith, that's special. Allen said I could follow him, he drives like a turtle.

Steve and I discussed that. Big Levels is in Augusta County West of the Blue Ridge, Black Powder starts the next weekend. East of the Blue Ridge starts that weekend. It will still be Archery Season at Big Levels, but an arrow sticking out of a Cherokee is nothing new, been happening for thousands of years. Wink rofl

Almost there!!! One more week.

So I had a dream last night that it was the morning of the ride and I forgot my digi-cam. I woke up and put it by my bag so I wouldn't forget it. That's good stuff.
