Confused I'm thinking of doing a sping-over conv. on my '80 Cj7. Is it worth it? I've seen bolt-on applications from good companies. Are there any draw-backs? Can I use a shackle reverse still? I want the lift without modifying my drivetrain and all the pains with it. The suspention is in good shape, stock springs, power steering, 1 1/2 over shakles, 1" body lift, hd stock springs, winch. Gears are next. Whats the general opinion?

thanks.

Explain this statement to me a little more. I'm curious what you mean by it.

Check out this site - some good info, but you'll likely need to lengthen your driveshafts and you'll need to modify your steering.
