I have a 98 tj 2.8 lt. I've developed a rattle I believe is in the front end
somewhere. It's not with the drivetrain, but it is a revolution type noise
with the wheel??. everything seems to be fine, tight, clean. Ive checked
all fluids, differential as well, everything seems fine while driving, it just
has the rattle noise.

Most likely this rattle is comming from your shock eyes. The bushings can and usually do wear out to the point that these mystery rattles show up.

Thanks for the response, but I just had the shocks done last week. I
checked them anyway. I guess the word "rattle" is wrong. The noise
is a rattle type, but is for sure going around and around, like a wheel??
I can hear it best at lower speeds like around 15-20. Could it be a
bearing?

i recently fixed noises from the shock-eyes and the the sway bar ends and i had a rotten rubber bushing on one side of the sway bar mounts near the front bumper. good luck

also, i added a much louder radio to keep the rattles and wind noise down. Rolling Eyes IT REALLY WORKS Mr. Green rofl Neutral
