Drove out to Scottsdale, Arizona from here in Alamogordo to pick up a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. 32" mud-whomping Goodriches mounted on American Racing wheels with a suspension lift at 60k miles. $6,200 before TTL and the ridiculous $295 paperwork fee. But whatever, I think I pretty much stole it from them considering they were asking for $8,900. I wish I could claim that I was that smooth of a talker, but it was an eBay buy, and they didn't set a reserve. I guess I snuck under the radar!

At any rate here's a pic of it:

More pics here.

So far it's running great, no problems, knock on wood. I've dug around in the engine a bit and everything looks tip-top. There is a small leak from the oil plug and a freaking nail in the front-driver tire, but I can fix that jazz no problem.

The get-up-and-go is a little sluggish, but I expected that, and of course the gas mileage is horrendous. But it sure is fun. Can't wait to get it out to Las Cruces and try to break it.

Alright, tell me what you guys think.

Ciao!

Great buy, I think it looks great. I've always liked white jeeps and I feel that they are underated so much.

Now that is an awsome buy rofl Although that is more like stealing than buying Finger I love white Jeeps. When I bought mine I hunted around for a while to make sure to get one. Its like thephantum said, it will most definitely look better with some dirt and mud on it. I myself hardly ever wash mine, I like the look of a dirty Jeep more than a clean one.

Actually, I want to get a lightbar and a cage bumper on the front. Of course I need to replace the winch that was taken off by the previous owner and the CB too.

I'd love to hear some mod ideas from you guys! My grandfather owns Sunray Engineering in Weatherford, Texas and if I can get some solid plans down I'm sure I can talk him into cutting me an awesome deal on parts and labor.

Thanks for the kudos and most certainly yes to the prospect of getting some protective and decorative mud all over it! The white color is perfect for a really dirty artistic contrast, I like to think.
