For those who actually perform maintenance to their Jeep's...... What do you do...and at what intervals you do it?

Im realy anal when it comes to oil changes. I will only go @ 2500 to 3000 miles between changes. And I use Mobil 1 Super Synth 10w30 and a Mobil1 filter.

Mobil1 Synth grease for the front end parts every couple of months or after any deep water or mud run, then I grease it as soon as I get home to push out any water or crud.

Difs, Tcase, get changed every spring with Amsoil Synth.

Antifreeze gets checked 2x a year and replaced when needed.

Plugs get replaced every spring also. Dielectric grease on the boots and anti seize on the threads.

Tires rotated every 1200 to 1500 miles. I do a circular rotation that includes the spare.

What he said. Plus I change the air filter at least once a year. There's probably something I'm forgetting, but those are the basics. Cool

dude... no need to change the oil that often... I do mine every 5000 with a synthetic blend. I've been doing this for a long time and even my 320,000+ mile K5 blazer would still be on the street if that water hole was as shallow as it looked Crying or Very sad

Shocked

Yeah I know I could and should go longer between, but its my favorite toy Wink

My Amsoil guy keeps trying to get me to run 0w30 Amsoil. He keeps telling me that I can go 35K between changes, just change the filter, an expensive Amsoil filter every couple of months and top it off when it needs it. I still aint quite sold on that idea yet. And When I did the math, it realy dosent pay to do so.

I change the oil every 3000 like clockwork. The tires get rotated and the front end lubed every 6000 miles (every other oil change). The tranny's, t-cases and diffs get new fluid every 12,000. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor and air filters every 24,000...

I'm forgetting something, I know it....
