Did you replace all of your control arms, brake lines, and sway and track bars as well? Just wondering how much of a "budget" lift it really is...

Im just wondering if its worth the effort of gathering all of the parts, or just ordering the superflex kit from RE...I have an S10 that Im parting out, and may end up keeping the the springs for this same lift.

didnt replace the control arms but it dont hurt to, got to get a longer emergency brake cable it is a little tight, didnt have to touch the hydralic lines, did nothing to the track bar an it still has the origonal replacement sway bar links ( still need to leighten them) but no problems with the swaying because i got zj front coils an home made spacers, total i spent 100 on the springs 75 for the leafs, 25 for the coils an i made the spacers (2 inch) the zj coils on a stock xj i 6/ 4.0 will yeild about 1 inch of lift ...so far ive only spent 300 usd for my lift an the shocks( 200 ) so no i dont think it is bad an it is better i think than a a.a.l. kit , slightly stiffer but i like it that way because i pull a trailer. dont even know its there half the time. so i hope you the best of luck ~ phil headbang

Heh, so $300 was a stroke of luck eh? I like the whole budget deal, and having a non running S10 makes it more convenient for me, but after front springs, shocks, brakes, and control arms Im looking at at least $500 anyways.

How soon do you plan on selling those pro comps?

dakota springs gave me 5 inchs with gear in the rear.... $126.00 for the whole rear.... 85 for the springs off a '97 dakota... cut off the eyes and strap all under the main xj leafs... 6 inches with no gear 5 with about 250 lbs in the rear.... plus full size 31 10.50 15 on top with rack and hijack lift.

stiffer yes, but better IMO...
