We'll I put on 1995 Wrangler brake lines on my XJ to have that extra breathing room for FleX!! After playing with them, I found it was better to install the drivers side line on the passenger side/passenger side on the drivers side. If you do it the other way it will brush against the shock Sad I didn't like that so I swapped them around and found out it works great and no contact!!

Part numbers you ask?? sure they are Raybestos

BH38862 LH Fits great on the RH $20.15
BH38861 RH Fits great on the LH $23.53

If I can find someone with a camera I'll take a pic. The only thing I had to do was bend the line more towards the fire wall the way it will mount in it's new location. Great way for longer brake lines

If you use the drivers side on the drivers side this what it will look like

See how it bends toward the shock, flip them and the bend is towards the back wide open, no rub.

Hopefully me and Steve will get some pics so I can do a couple Budget lifts tips Mr. Green

Completly off topic....speaking of party's, we should prolly have at least one wrenching party this winter. Now that I have the bigger garage we could wrench two Jeeps at once regardless of weather.

Just a thought....

Carry on...

Hi,

Interested looking at these brake lines as i am looking to change mine.

I won't however be running 33's or the lift you have and wonder if they will be too long under there?

I have a 2.5" lift with 30's...will be going to 31's with shackles rear and coil spacers front.

Based on this do you think these yj lines would be a good idea? Are they a simple replcement?....if bleeding brakes is ever simple!!

Cheers for your thoughts in advance ..........i do like to ponder Smile

No problem. As far a installation, easy, just bleed when done, & remember to use them on the oppisite sides Wink

Maybe I can get a pic of them this weekend for all to see Mr. Green
