Actually, welding them in would be easier than drilling/tapping the holes out...it's much less work. But Dale got the JKS BPE's, which I believe are aluminum. I neither have experiance welding aluminum nor do I have the equipment to do so. So, we'll just have to have the drills at the ready.

I replaced my rear springs in about two hours by myself...so we should be able to get Allens done in half that. Jay's or Dales lift (whichever one we do) is going to be the main focus since we'll be trying to get the entire lift (front and rear) done in a day.

Vic, aside from bringing paint samples for Jen, could you bring some of that door gaurd? That way, after we get Allens springs done we can pop mine in the garage and all take turns hacking up my fenders. Mr. Green

well, I won't have my lift by then:( ,I couldnt get a hold of Dirk (of dpgoffroad.com) due to phone problems (icestorms) and his mother just passed away, which is sad.

So, it'll be a few weeks.

But count on me to turn some wrenches!

And maybe I can get rid of the squeek in my front brakes!

Dale's ready, so's the XJ.

List of things to do on XJ:

1. Install Rocky Road 2" BB (use of stock shocks means no drilling)
2. Install DPGOffroad Bump Stop Plates and beefy U-Bolts (this is a might as well since the leaf pack is apart.
3. Install C4x4 Front Tow Hooks
4. Weld in new Cat Converter (That's if Steve wants to weld stuff)
5. Eat, Drink and Be Merry

As far as the "wee-hours-o'-the-mornin'"...

Ya got me for as long as you need. I took off both Saturday and Sunday, so I can work like a horse all day and night. Just be careful with the spurs... Shocked Very Happy
