Just got a 94 XJ 4x4. Love it so far except for the lack of gauges. all it has is speedo and gas, and idiot lights. Is there a dash swap from another year or maybe a Grand cherokee that will give me a tach oil pressure, and temp? really want to keep interior close to stock as this will be my sons jeep when i go back stateside next year. thanks for the help.

Smile I've done the dash swap. If you use the same year of dash. Basically if the gauges match the current ones. It's a perfect swap. All you have to do is change the sending units VS. Sending switches on the engine. The only adjustment you have to make is for the Tach. In place of the Fuel gauge. On the Gauge package dash. there's an adjustment potentiometer on the bottom. I cut a small hole in the plastic shell to allow a small screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer. All you have to do then is set the tach for your engine. The rest of the gauges automatically registers with the new sending units. Basically the oil pressure, water temperature sending units. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
