how are the trails in Shoe Creek, what are they rated? or what would you rate them?

They have a "bunny" by pass rofl All tough parts have a easy way around, so they can be mild to wild!!!! I think me and Allen hit the wild one last time, oh and there was that time Steve was driving Jens over some rocks Mr. Green Man great time, good trails, take your pick Mr. Green Some where there is a "rock garden"???? Still haven't found it though??

hey fellas....just followed a link from Vic's89XJ I am in H-burg and will try to make it out there with yah on sat if you don't mind a extra XJ Cool Just finished up the RE 3.5 add a leaf this weekend and am eager to hit some trails....no tow hooks yet(in the mail) but will keep outta trouble for you guys......anyone ever been up my way off of Rt. 33?

Hey....I go up there a lot Mr. Green Kephart, FS 85/227 (goes by Skidmore Fork Lake).....I wanna go out sometime to find the "Salt Shed"??? and the mud holes around there, and go to Second Mountain, Dictum Ridge....hit me up with a PM sometime if you go Wink

I should say "over" but I also live in Waynesboro

Yeah I have been both places.....salt shed is really good plus there is a good spot behind the resevoir and second mountain is just beautiful. Second mountain also has a lot ot ATV stuff if you have some.

I am actually heading out to Second mountain on late Friday if you are interested...

Steve - As far as difficulty, Shoe Creek is easy to intermediate. There's some rough spots, but nothing to knarly. The more difficult stuff is actually off the main trail, but some of it is still in the National Forest making it fair game. The stuff that is outside of GWNF is offlimits. It's all clearly marked...if you know what to look for. Wink
