sounds like a Tractor Supply run  They have hi-lifts (name brand) for $45.

Steve, that's good stuff to have and I recommend getting them. But don't break a leg trying to get them before Shoe Creek. You won't need them there. The one time we strapped someone out at Shoe Crrek (ok...it was me) it was because it was pouring rain, I couldn't see and I zigged when I should have zagged. 
Besides, we'll have plenty of straps there....so no worries.

It's not supposed to snow on Saturday, that's what matters. Visibility will be good. Snow on the ground will just make it more interesting and fun.

Yup, we are going in on the South side, going up to the AT and then turning around and coming back down.

Any thoughts about going past the AT and down to that parking lot and where the bathroom is and then turning around? I don't think it's that much further past the AT.

I would say just hold it. 
Yea, we can do that...it's less then 1/2 a mile past the AT if memory serves.
Jen and I will be staying in a cabin up in Love, Va for the weekend...so we are leaving tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. We'll see y'all at Mickey D's Saturday morning.
