I need some help.
I am need to change the gears in both the front and the rear of my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee but I do not know exactly how to do it and have not found any thing on the web on how to can any one help? I have already purchased to install kits and have a set of used matching ring and pinions for both axles therefore i do not want to upgrade the entire axles.

I am also having a problem withe the Jeep not starting (electrical problem?) when I try to start it, turns over however will not start, the alarm system goes off and numerous indicator lights go off any help on any of these 2 problems would be helpfull.

Here is what I have 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L
Currently a 242 (already did a swap w/help of this site)
3" lift w/31" tires

MOving this to the drivetrain section for the gear question. Not sure if you'll find many how-to sites on setting up gears because it's quite involved. Here's a pretty brief write-up on the D35. http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/reviews/488/

Gear setups are better off left to the professionals, unless you know exactly what you're doing...which it doesn't appear this way. Gear setups are one thing I have tried yet, but have been thinking about attempting once I purchase all the special tools.
