Wellllllllll i just had to purchase a new radiator and thermost stat + a few other things which is gonna set me back about $350..anyway how can i protect these things from getting knocked around?

How did you manage to knock around your radiator and t-stat? ???

Did you replace it with a 3 core steel unit?

Im just asssuming that i knocked something loose while riding, my old zj had the same problem w/over heating and radiator problems, i found some skid plates by skid row, that look pretty reasonable for my tranny.

I run the Skid Row engine/tranny plate on mine. It's pretty easy to install as well. The only thing with thier skid is that there's two part #'s for XJ's, depending on the space between the crossmember and LCA mount...one for 10" between them and the other is for 14". You can see where to measure it here:



If your looking for a t-case skid check out this one from DPG Offroad. It was not available when I bought my Skid Row t-case plate or it would be under my junk.
