J.Ho at Paragon this July 30/31?

So we (FM2CDVA) are planning a trip to Rausch Creek in either June or July. We'd like to wheel with some of you MD/PA/NJ folks, since we are gonna be up in your neck of the woods.

The question is who's down and what date would you want to do it?

edit - This will most likely be at PAP, not RC.

About the only date in June that will work for me and Steve is June 25/26. Otherwise all of july is open.

That's a bit far for me to travel..................














Throw out a date and I'll have my people note my schedule . I should be good either month too, although we're undecided on vacation plans this year, but that's be either the last week of July or first of August to coincide with my shutdown weeks.

Is PAP out for this? I'll go either way, just curious if PAP's too far for you VA dudes...

I prefer PAP...it's cheaper and I think the rocks are better. RC is more mud except for the Rock Garden that's like 1500ft long and 100ft wide. Mud isn't my cup of tea. Without the PAP membership it costs the same as RC but you're much closer to civilization if you'll be staying overnight and want something to do afterwards.

Dale and I would prefer to do PAP as well. Distance is not an issue since PAP is 45 min to an hour more of a drive than RC for us...but the majority of our members want to do Raucsh Creek...I won't paraphrase them, their reasons are here.

I think E makes a good point though...we will be staying two nights and we usually do all like to go to dinner after a ride. That needs to be considered as well.

OK, it looks like we are leaning towards Paragon and the date that's floating around right now is July 30th/31st.
