I think you should hook 'em up and let us know...... Mr. Green

Honestly, there are so many varibles on a pull-off..... type of traction (mud, dirt, street, snow...), tire type (street, at, mt, slicks...), vehicle height (usually the lower rig pulls down on the taller one giving the taller more traction and lower one less), strength of vehicle components (axles, driveshafts, u-joints...) and it keeps going.

Don't think so. Auto tranny is even recommended by Jeep for pulling ANYTHING, since it's less wear on the engine. But manual tranny has exclusive access to 1st gear, whereas auto trannies don't.

I would drag his ass all over the world... Mr. Green

Here is a guy who was talking smack about his toyota.. He got stuck I pulled him out then I drove thru the same hole and back again...
Notice his brake light on and I am still pulling.... Mr. Green
http://www.delta4x4club.com/video/4-27spillway7.avi

I cant find the video of me going thru it on line but I really did.. I will look thru my old tapes and see if I can find it and host it...

Anyway.. I pulled him out and drug him while he held his foot on the brakes then I went thru then I came back . Then he said I was only able to pull him because his tires where muddy so we hooked the strap between us and I drug him while he spun his tires I pulled him about 100 yards before he caught traction on a rock and destroyed his front Birfield... Mr. Green Then I had to tow him all the way home... rofl

He had 4:56 gears and at the time I had 3:73..

I can tell you there is no way a 4 banger toyota is pulling my V8 grand anywhere... Not on street not on sand not on mud... Just not going to happen...

Make it a bet for money and embarass him and take his money at the same time... Mr. Green

Oh yeah.. Back then I had the 249 T-case still in and I did that in 4 fulltime... If I did it again I would put my 231D in 4 low and tear his truck in half... rofl

You should just throw a stick of butter at the guy, and leave it at that. That's something random, and I'd be pretty pissed if a guy threw a stick of butter at me!

You sure about that. Next time you get in an auto, look at the shifter, that funny little #1 is there for a reason.

It just so happens that when you shift into that spot the auto tranyy will stay in first gear... I know I know its a wild concept but it works.
