...says it all, I ordered the performance package- got good gains (spins tires from dead stop, never did that before) but I have a hiss / whine when I romp on her- any suggestions? I've heard bore out the threading on the spacer or turn it upside down- anything to these?

I've heard that other throttle body spacers on 2.5L's also make a whistling sounds under acceleration - ya got me as to a cause.

I've got the throttle body spacer on mine's as well, along with the air tube, and K&N...it whistles, I've grown to like it. In Rusty's little write-up on the product, they refer to it as an air sucking monster...or in my case, a wet vac...which is now just a heap-o-crap (the engine blew)...I'll swap all that intake stuff on the new engine though.

ha ha....my girl and I have already tuned it out... Btw when I took the back left factory screw out for the replacement the head broke off right in my socket...I know Im getting a good seal with the three remaining, because I put the stock back on just to see and no problems...just be careful on that back one, that's all...
