Be sure to pull those rear brake drums off and hose all around the shoes. Scrap, wire brush, and clean as much of the mud out of there as you can. This will keep your emergency brake working as well as the brakes themselves.

Mud is the debil...


when the Yj gets too dirty I break out the power washer, inside, outside, under... its all the same to me.

No problems yet, been doing it for 4 years

a little off topic... growing up -my dad had a ford van -it was black -used it camping etc...

one hot day my sister and her friend asked him if they could wash it -sure -they did... but my dad didn't realize there were some scotch brite pads in the bucket -i think he used them to do the lettering on the tires...
...they washed it with the scotch brite... they wet sanded it!
