After all my talk about the trxus that I want to buy, I might have found a deal on some good used 33X12.50 SSRTSL's. My ? is about siping. That seems to be the Trxus's claim to fame. I have heard of people cutting their own tread pattern. Since it's all about the Benjamins (I'm Cheap!), does anyone have any insite on cutting rubber?

Siping is fairly easy to do as long as you have the siping tool of course. Siping done correctly can give some extra bitting edge for offroading.

One setup I see alot around here is with both the BFG MT and GY MT/R's is siping a groove the length of each lug. Ive been told that it does wonders for snow/ice driving and with the GY MT/R's it turns a "rock tire" into a New England greasy trail tire.

Thans alot, guys. Those links were great. This could save me some $ on tires. Maybe I can put the cash that I'm saving towards a new spring kit. I wish I had the tires now. We were out busting through some trails this weekend. The snow is starting to go away and it's time to play! Very Happy
