The question is on Black Mountain lifts...if anyone has ever heard of them and the parts list for the kits. So to get this BOT:

I don't have any experience with their lift kits, nor do I know anyone who runs one...so I don't know if it's a flexy kit (for things like rock crawling) or a stiffer kit (for things like mudding). From what I can see they have two 4.5" kits for XJ's:

4.5" AAL - Front 4.5" coils rear shackles 4" add-a-leaves with shocks (no boots), transfercase drop, swaybar drop, brake line brackets, track bar brackets.

4.5" full leafs - 4.5" front coils 4" rear replacement springs with blocks. Shocks (no boots) lower control arms, transfercase drop, swaybar drop, brakeline brackets, trackbar brackets.

I would go with the full leaf kit, since the AAL will sag over time and it's only like $60 more for the full packs. Plus your getting LCA's with the full pack kit too.

Superlift owns the black diamond name right now I believe. The black diamond actually started with Warn winch before they got out of the suspension business. I think the name has bounced around a couple of different offbrand places......some people say they are simply a re-badged rough country lift which may probably be true. As far as quality I haven't a clue....never seen anyone who was running them but if you search on www.cardomain.com I am sure you could come across someone who is using the lift....
