after completing my radiator flush I went to close the plastic valve and must have rethred it cause now all it does is continuely turn. been noticing small amount of anti-freeze in the drive. (1996 jeep gr. cherokee lmtd Ed.) what can i do to reverse this? thanks Crying or Very sad help!!!!!!

Replace the radiator.

Um, for a $100 or so less, you can go buy a replacement petcock. It should include the housing and the plug. You should be able to remove it with needle nose pliers.

If the GC's have the plastic tanks on the radiator like the Wrangler ones do, I'm going to stick with replacing the radiator. The plastic tanked radiators are a known issue and it will leak eventually. Take this opportunity to fix 2 things at one time.

Eric.. Check Ebay.. they have all metal replacement radiator ..I am going to buy one myself.. I have a dodge truck radiator in right now its metal but it doesnt fit very well... Confused

I had to rerun the trans cooling lines and stuff.. It sucked.. I am definatly getting one of the metal ones...

I paid $139 shipped to my door for a GDI all metal 3 row radiator last fall. I got it from Radiator.com. There's a write around here someplace on the install. edit - here it is

That one on eBay is $125 + $18 shipping. I'm cheap and I'd save the $4...but that's me. Mr. Green
