I just picked up a 1988 Wagoneer Limited that has the cheesy woodgrain on the sides.
Can anyone tell me how it is attached?
I would really like to remove it and put a new paint job on the jeep, but if I'm going to end up with 100 screw holes to fill I might reconsider...
I have looked for a body manual, but I can't find them for sale anywhere.
Any help or advice is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!

Okay, I looked at one of these and I hate to tell you this, but yes. The molding/trim around the wood grain is pop rivetted into the body. This is one of the main reason's I steered away from the Jeep. It had too much body work for my hubby to do. I would say there was maybe a total of 7 holes on the rear quarter panel, that was only one molding strip. Sad So you would probably have a total of 14 for just that area to fill. Now the wood grain itself is just sticker and can be sanded off. Its the molding that is the main problem.
