i am gonna be putting a new lift on my jeep around 6.5"-7". i am wandering peoples opinions on the control arms i should buy. i cannot afford long arms right now and was wanderng if anyone made short arms for this big of a lift.

It would be very dangerous to ride with short arms and that much lift.. It will put a tremendous force on your mounts and you will probobly rip them off the first time you hit a bump..

I run right at 6" of lift on mine with adjustable short arms (But I have reinforced every weld on both my axles and unitbody..

If you cannot afford long arms dont go that high.. 5.5 is about the max safe height on short arms..

SOrry to be the bearer of bad news but I would hate to see you kill yourself or someone else by ripping your axle mounts off and loosing an axle on the highway...


Save up and buy the long arm when you can.. Go with 5.5 for now...

And even then make sure you get the reinforcement brackets for the lower arms on the front ...

who makes rein forcements for the front?

They come with the RE kits (Some of them..) Just have to look and make sure you are getting them.. They are just pieces that bolt to the back of the control arm mounts and bolt to unit body..
Kinda shaped like a triangle..
