I have a question for you guys who have installed a Warn Winch onto your TJ front end. Where did you ground the wire that comes out of the warn controller on a M-8000 winch? Warn says ground it to the motor, are they talking about the TJ motor, or the M-8000 motor? I am thinking if you grounded it to the rear bolt that holds the swaybar bracket, that goes into the frame of the TJ, and wouldn't that "ground it" ?

I grounded mine straight to the battery but you can use the Motor ground Or the ground wire that comes off the alt to the frame... It doesnt really matter as long as its grounded...

Battery works just fine for me...

Got it, I grounded it to the ground wire bolt that comes out of the motor. Thanks.
